Getting outdoors is one of our relaxation activities to take care of our staff, so they are fresh and demonstrate to their work. On the 1st of June, we had a team-building trip to Phnom Kulen, one of the beautiful eco-resort in Siem Reap, Cambodia. It is our second time, when we first visited in 2014. This year is more special because our Fundraising Board President, Sally and our Sewing Advisor, Seyla from Australia also joined our trip.
We left HHA in the early morning and ate breakfast at a famous local noodle restaurant in Siem Reap. After breakfast, we directly continued our journey to Phnom Kulen. We arrived the top of the mountain at around 9:20 am. Then we had a short break and played team building games. While we were playing, there was a slightly rain, but that was fine. We still continued playing and we also sang and danced with the mini speaker we brought with. Our team building games spent around two hours.
Then it was time for our lunch. We headed to a restaurant there and enjoyed eating a delicious food. After lunch, we continued our tour by walking to visit a temple, which is about 550 meters. Around an hour visited the temple, we then continued our tour to the waterfall, our favorite ones. Our team enjoyed swimming and playing the waterfall so much. The water was so cold. We spent around one hour and half there. Then we headed back home and arrived safely around 6:00 pm.
We had a wonderful time together. We would like to give a special thanks to our sponsors, Sally and Seyla.
