Sreythom received additional training thanks to SE Asia Foundation

Sreythom with a facemask she made for community members during 2020.

Meet Sreythom, a determined mother who comes from a large family of seven. Unfortunately, due to financial struggles, she had to discontinue her studies after grade seven and start working as a cleaner to help her family earn an income.

However, her passion for sewing never faded. Sreythom's life changed when she was discovered by our staff and was registered for their sewing program. After ten months of hard work and dedication, Sreythom completed her course in 2017 and became the seamstress for our social enterprise, HOPE Sewing Enterprise.

Over the years, Sreythom has improved both her career and mindset. With her talent and skill in sewing, she has become a reliable and responsible worker. She has also developed more patience and bravery in tackling new things. Thanks to her skills and determination, Sreythom was sponsored by SE Asia Foundation to learn sewing uniforms at a famous tailor shop in Siem Reap town to upgrade her skills. After three months of learning, she became confident in making clothes and uniforms for customers, which was a significant achievement for her as a seamstress.

Sreythom's story is just one of many examples of how donations can make a real difference in people's lives. With your support, we can provide more opportunities for people like Sreythom to learn new skills and improve their livelihoods.

Every donation counts, no matter how small. With your help, we can empower more individuals and families to move out of poverty and create a better future for themselves and their communities.

Let's make Sreythom's dream of supporting her family a reality. Donate today and make a difference in someone's life.
